Add a tool for your team
Get your team using tools in three steps.
- 1
Sign in with Google
Use your work account for your company, or a personal account to try it. - 2
Add a tool for your team
For example, choose Linear or paste a tool link. Your teammates can use it once you give them access. - 3
Connect an AI app to use the tools
How accounts work
When you use a tool, it acts through your own account. Your team can see a record of the action and control who has access.

Hosting ClosedMCP yourself?
To invite teammates, ClosedMCP needs a public HTTPS link.
- Host ClosedMCP at a public HTTPS address.
- Set
PUBLIC_ORIGINto that address when starting the server. - Open People and copy the invite link.
Ask the person who hosts ClosedMCP for help with the first two steps.
Advanced settings
Tools start private to your company. You can make a tool public in its settings. A member’s public tool needs admin approval. Tools with a shared company account stay private.
Admins and the person who added a tool can manage it. Removing a public tool also removes it for companies that installed it.

Joined the wrong company?
Sign out and use the work Google account your team uses. Ask your admin to confirm the account and domain.
A tool says sign-in is being enabled
Some tools need ClosedMCP to register first. The ClosedMCP team does this once. The tool turns on when ready.
GitHub is missing private repositories
Your GitHub organization may need to approve ClosedMCP. In GitHub, open Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps → ClosedMCP. Under Organization access, choose Grant or Request. Each person still sees only repositories they can access.
